English: Tormodur back with a new single, this time in Danish! The Faroese 23-year-old, who debuted in January of 2022 with ‘We Both Know’, is back after more than a year in hiatus. His debut single received a lot of praise, and a great amount of airplay in Faroese and Danish radio. Since then he has released three singles, all with English lyrics.
This time however, you’ll be able to hear him sing in Danish for the first time, in his fifth single named ‘Kom til Aalborg’, which translates to ‘Come to Aalborg’.
Regarding genre, the song lies in a modern corner of the Danish music-genre called Dansktop, with guitars, drums and trumpets leading the instruments, combined with festive lyrics and a lively vocal. This musical cocktail creates a song that’s great to either nod or sing along to.
