“Whatcha Gonna Do About It” came to be a song out of Arnold’s own uttering of that phrase one day!” stated EagleCentric’s Arnold Ludvig, who added, “it was recorded/sampled on the phone” and combined with the drum & bass beat, with a sampled, sliced and modulated drum loop, borrowed from a Masters studies’ assignment, and then processed in Ableton. The result is an energetic Jazztronica dance track, mostly based on the use of original samples on Arnold’s voice and whistling, Deborah Herbert’s voice, with that slightly distorted virtual Wurlitzer piano, and that raw and warm saw-wave synth bass sound. “Whatcha Gonna Do About It” is an excellent track for live performances by EagleCentric.
