About Lipet El Seven Brothers
Lipet ei – ‘Seven Brothers’ – is a suite of twelve pieces. Sources and inspirations derive from several Northern circumpolar cultures – Inuit from Greenland, North West Canada and Aleut, as well as Sami, Faroese and Yakuti cultures. The greater part of this suite, however, is from the Khanti culture of North West Siberia as represented by Vera Kondrateva.
