It Seems To Be You Again

Words: Eva Perrin Fontana
Music: Eyði Horsdal

I’m not as mad as usual
That you are on my mind
In fact,
I’ve become accustomed to be
Surrounded by your beige walls
I’ve hung up posters now
Thumb-tacked memories to you
Glorified your nature,
I suppose that it’s alright…

I’ll move out soon.

And what then?
It’s been a few months now
Of walking ‘round the block
In case you see a shadow shaped like me
Looking to the moon…

And it kills me to say,
I want to see those beige walls
And be back at your place
Surrounded by the posters
And the thumb-tacked lists I made

Of reasons I should leave you
And all the reasons I should stay
I suppose that it’s okay…

I’ll move out soon.
