Foolish Blue – Eyði Horsdal

About Foolish Blue

A faint moment in front of a train leaving reaches far. Those foolish blue eyes etched in the mirrors of the windows of the tube and in you.
A deep and dark light ballad with heavy bass, an ear catching melody and a sparkling wine glass.

Foolish Blue (10th of November) is the 4th single of Eyði Horsdal’s much anticipated debut album, Songs with Eva (24th of March 2023).

Written in collaboration with talented young writer Eva Perrin Fontana (UK), singer-songwriter Eyði Horsdal (FO) presents us with a heartfelt closeness and optimism while promising more to come in the Songs with Eva universe.

Released on the following formats:
Digitally on all major platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.). You can check it out by using this link:

If only I could take a photograph
To show your eyes so foolish blue
And the way I can see myself smile
Back at you-
Through the windows,
The dark windows of the tube.

And your palette would be indigos and browns
With notes of whites and blacks
You’re naturally modern
With flair for ritual
But a love of chaos
Tearing to go further
And understand

On the days my mind behaves
You’re sleep to my itchy eyes.
