Jólaklokkan aftur ringir
Dania O. Tausen releases her first Christmas single, as part of the release Jólasoul, which will be released very soon. Dania wanted to make a choral arrangement for a nice Christmas carol or psalm, and came across this beautiful melody by Knút Olsen with lyrics by Jakob Jakobsen. What especially spoke to Dania in this psalm was verse 4, which says, “If you walk on a narrow road, frightened thoughts penetrate, nothing can light up your dark mind like Christmas joy.” With Dania’s version, she hopes to spread this Christmas joy, so that we can forget the fatigue and the dark winter thoughts for a while and rather feel “the hope lighten the wings just like the first Christmas day”.
