About PLEASE SEEK HELP

Joe & The Shitboys solidify their anticipated return with second new single ‘PLEASE SEEK HELP’.

Following on from recent single ‘MR. NOBODY’ – a groove-driven departure for the DIY punk four-piece – ‘PLEASE SEEK HELP’ also sees the Shitboys stepping away from their usual tongue in cheek approach in a moment of sincerity. Singer Fríði Djurhuus a.k.a Joe explains…

“While Joe & The Shitboys lyrics tend to be full of irony, PLEASE SEEK HELP is a straight forward call for people to fix their shit. I’m pointing the finger at everyone, by basing the lyrics on my own struggles with mental health and insecurities. Taking care of your mind is too often ignored in people’s pursuit of the ideal life. You don’t have to struggle as much as you currently are. Take the next step. Talk to someone. Talk to a professional. You are worth something.”

A straight forward message delivered directly via a satisfyingly simplistic track, ‘PLEASE SEEK HELP’ never skips a note.

Having torn through festivals and tours around the UK, Europe and North America since they burst onto the scene in 2020, Joe & The Shitboys head back to British soil this May for The Great Escape festival in Brighton, along with shows in Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic as well as around Europe to be announced soon.
