STAY HUMBLE BUT NOT TOO HUMBLE! The meaning behind the song “Identity” is to shed light upon how people of all ages can sometimes feel confused and stuck in a hamster wheel of daily tasks. The references from personal experiences are set in a more general and relatable context. The melody is catchy and positive, a signal of hope as the outro blasts a wakeup call in your face, not to accept your distress and to start doing what you know is best for yourself!
TeleMama was founded at The Faroese Music Competition (Sement 2021) and were to play at G! festival 2021, which we all know why was cancelled. They draw inspiration from bands like Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Her’s, Mac DeMarco and Boy Pablo. TeleMama is a breath of fresh air to the Faroese music scene.
