“Fylg mær heim” is about getting tired and overwhelmed of everything that the world fills into your head. “When I wrote this song I imagined a peaceful place in the nature surrounded by big trees hiding me from the everything and everyone. The view of running water and hearing the rushing sound of a stream and tiny birds twittering while I sit with my guitar. Whenever I play this song I go back to this imaginary place, where I don’t care about what others expect of me. Where I don’t have to pretend to be something I’m not.” Simona Paula says.
