Ragnar is a young guitarist, singer and songwriter from the Faroe Islands. He is currently based in Malmö, Sweden where he is studying folk music. He started playing music at an early age fiddling around with his father’s acoustic guitar which lead to an interest in folky and rootsy music. At age 16 he started working as a session and studio guitarist, performing and touring with various
local artists. All the while Ragnar has done a lot of work as a soloist. Both playing gigs and writing songs and has so far released 3 singles, one of which was nominated for song of the year at the “Faroese Music Awards”. Now he is ready with his first full album “As The Sun Sinks Down”.
