Description
‘Vælsigna tú dag’ which is a prayer that means ́Lord bless the day’ was translated from Norwegian into Faroese by Hans Jacob Kollslíð. Trygve Hoff made the song and wrote the lyrics back in the 80’s to at children’s program in NRK. Ever since than, several of Norwegian artists, have made covers of this song. One could mention Moddi and Christel Alsos.
Fljóðljóð is a women’s choir established by Súsanna Joensen in November 2016. Súsanna is also the conductor and the choir sings different kinds of music, such as classical, hymns, and other traditional nordic choir compositions, as well as newer music.
