This summer Katari is releasing their very first single called “leyst loft”. The single is about being lost in your mind in the best and worst ways, touching on subjects like anxiety and heart-ache, the fading of the past and the struggles of navigating your own desires in life. While touching on many serious topics, the duo wanted to make music that felt soft, playful and story-telling. The soundscape is acoustic and in a folk-bossa nova style that is minimalistic in its use of instruments, but plays with odd-time rhythms and jazz inspired riffs.
