Føroyska tónaskaldskvinnan FRUM letur nýggju heildarútgávu sína, Whirlpool, úr hondum í dag. Whirlpool er ein poetisk og elektronisk ferð gjøgnum lívsins ringrásir og broytingar.
Tónleikurin er skrivaður og framleiddur í Akureyri og Bergen – tveir staðir, sum hava sett síni spor í tónleikin. Har, mitt millum náttúru og býarlív, vaks ein fløga fram, sum granskar ringrásirnar, vit øll eru partur av: í náttúruni, í sólskipanini, í árstíðunum – og í okkara egna innara lívi.
Whirlpool sameinir eksperimentalan elektro-pop við persónliga dýpd. Útgávan rúmar átta løg, umframt eina intro og outro, og lýsir eina ferð gjøgnum transformatión, endurnýggjan og samband – bæði við seg sjálvan og við heim, ið alsamt broytist.
Á útgávuni hevur FRUM eisini lagt dent á at samstarva við kvinnuligar ljóðframleiðarar og skapa eitt rúm, har kvinnuligar røddir og sjónarhorn sleppa framat – bæði í ljóði og í skapanarmegi. Undanútgivnu stakløgini Rise, Whirlpool, Cycle og nýggja Sun Aura hava longu givið lurtarunum innlit í hetta rúm – eitt ljóðheim merkt av styrki, viðkvæmi og sólardrivnari orku. Serliga Sun Aura, sum er framleitt saman við norsku Moyka, stendur sum ein fagnaður av sjálvsmyndini og tí ljósi, ið fylgir eftir stormin.
Við hesi útgávu tekur FRUM eitt stórt og opið stig inn í eitt nýtt tíðarskeið sum listakvinna – eitt tíðarskeið merkt av rúmd, endurnýggjan og djúpum nærveru.
