Description

Tango

Niels A. Galán, known from the band 200, is a guest vocalist on the new single Tango by maður:glotti. On Tango, Dennis Agerblad and Niels A. Galán sing about how it can be difficult to connect when you and the person you meet have different ways of understanding life and existence.

In the music video, 3D animation and cartoon styles from the 1930s meet – a strange dance between the traditional and the unusual.

The track is available on most streaming platforms, and the music video can be seen on maður:glotti’s YouTube channel: youtube.com/@madurglotti

The two members of maður:glotti, Terji Krossteig and Dennis Agerblad, haven’t been active since 2008 when they released the album Land, but last summer they met again in Tórshavn and started writing new songs together. They also haven’t played live for years, but on July 25 they’ll perform an acoustic concert at Maggies, joined by bassist Kristin N. Bech.

Released on the following formats:
Digitally on all major platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).

Can I get in?
No, you can’t get in.
I want to join.
You can’t become a member here.

Why? I know how to play football. I know how to mend fishing nets and I can walk in steep terrain, you know. I know how to fish. I can slaughter a sheep. And I can harvest potatoes.

No, it takes a whole different set of skills to be part of this.
You have to be able to listen. Be able to talk. Be able to say what you feel deep inside. You have to be able to dance. Be able to live. Know how to be truly grounded in yourself and in relation to others.

I know how to build. To paint a house, and I can use a drill.

No no no. Let your hair grow. Dress in colors. Start smiling.
Once you’ve learned all that, you can come back.
