Description
Lying Cow
“Lying Cow” is the third single from Josef’s upcoming album “Fugloy”.
The song is inspired by a trip to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, where Josef discovered a letter that Van Gogh wrote a few years before his death. In the letter, Van Gogh expressed a longing for a simple life in the countryside, free from the pressures of the world. This letter played a pivotal role in Josef’s decision to travel to Fugloy and isolate himself to write and compose music.
“Lying Cow” is a playful song full of extreme decisions and spontaneity. It masterfully blends electronic music, autotune, and synthesizers with raw jam recordings, instrumental mistakes, and a free-jazz saxophone solo.
