Screen time, car-rides and heartbreak lights up the dance floor in Jónas Gaards’ new single, Like I Do. With an upbeat song and melancholy lyrics, it makes for the
perfect blend of sweet and bitter to pull at your heartstrings.

“Realising I had used 12 hours on my phone in one day, made me put my phone down and pick up the guitar and write. The song is pretty self-destructive lyrically, while still holding some self-irony to it. Without getting into details, I can add that it’s a very personal song for me.”

This is Jónas Gaards’ second release and his first in five months. Since the well-received and critically acclaimed Cruise Control, Jónas Gaard has been building a catalogue of music for his upcoming EP in 2023.
