About haré! haré!

The album Haré! Haré! was released in 2008. The song Bow Down was one of the bigger hits and was featured in the video games NBA 2K11 and NBA 2K16. The song was also used for a nationwide TV spot in the U.S. for the US Open tennis in 2012. The songs Big Personality and Soul Company were both played during episodes in the fourth season of MTV reality series, Jersey Shore.

Høgni Lisberg, also known from the ethno-rock band Clickhaze fame, released his first solo album, Most Beautiful Things in 2003. The album reached number 2 on Tutl Records’ sales charts on the Faroe Islands. This led Høgni to huge success in both his home country and in Switzerland, where the press gave him a lot of publicity during his Switzerland tour in 2004. In 2006, Høgni released the album Morning Dew. The album was recorded at the renowned Lundgaard Studios in Denmark by ex-Clickhaze bass player Jens L. Thomsen, and mixed by Óli Poulsen.

1. Big Personality

I know that I got a big personality
And a strong magnetism too
But it often seems to keep good people away from me
I don’t know why that is

I got a black and hollow soul
And money on my mind
Don’t let no one near me
Unless it pays off in the long run

I run things around here
And you’re part of my staff
I got everything planned
And we got goals to reach

I keep them to my left
I keep them to my right
Always making sure
That the attention is mine

And sometimes I’ll give a drink
Just to keep them satisfied
And sometimes I get a kick
Out of wasting their time

People on the street
Please give it up
For Mr. Big Personality & his staff

[Chorus]
Papa am I ambitious (enough)
Mama am I being good
Sisters do you love me
Brothers are you proud

He got big personality
And you’re on his team
He got loads of opinions
And you always agree

He’s doing enough living
For the both of you
And that’s just as well
Since you have no time on your own

And now that you’re in
You desperately need some time off

People on the street
Please give it up
For Mr. Big Personality & his staff
[Chorus]
Papa am I ambitious (enough)
Mama am I being good
Sisters do you love me
Brothers are you proud

2. The Right Attitude

Here is a news-flash:
Man down on the street
He couldn’t take the pressure
So to speak

It’s so hard to lose someone close
He had talent and success around the corner

And he was good looking
The ladies agreed
Kind, warm, and gentle
Like the man of their dreams

Oh, what a loss
So many will mourn
And at the funeral
The church will be filled

You gotta have the right attitude
You gotta have strong karma
You gotta be in touch with the spirit
You gotta be in touch with yourself

See, it’s hard to adjust
To the law of the jungle
When you’ve been raised
To be such a good boy

It’s like you haven’t been properly equipped
To deal with the realness of the world

You gotta have the right attitude
You gotta have strong karma
You gotta be in touch with the spirit
You gotta be in touch with yourself

3. Burstin’ Bubble

Don’t care too much about the world economy
You wouldn’t bail me out if I was in trouble
Don’t care too much about the world economy
To me you’re nothing but a burstin’ bubble

People, I’ve been to the mountain
And I’ve seen a dark cloud coming in;
War, death, greed and stone-cold hearts
And a trail of back-stabbin’ thieves

Now, I’m just a young man strugglin’ for the family
But all from here on to Washington D.C
I hear the talk of a world economy
I gotta say, it’s all a hoax to me

People – YEAH
Are you with me now
I said people – YEAH
Are you with me now
So holler YEAH
If you’re with me now
People – YEAH
Are you with me now

Don’t care too much about the world economy
You wouldn’t bail me out if I was in trouble
Don’t care too much about the world economy
To me you’re nothing but a burstin’ bubble

4. How High

I…
I’ve been dreaming all night
Dreamt of a house
High as the sky
With view
Over the whole wide world

This is my dream
A house in the sky
Thus high go my dreams
One day
I shall scream from the top
So everyone can hear and see

I keep it on the high
Keep it on the low
Everyone around me
Wanna go away

I close the doors from the inside
Don’t you come into my house
I know it fills a lot in the surroundings
But you can’t take it away from me

I’ve got a gun and the nerve to shoot
If you come ’round here
Listen up now
This is how it goes;
I’ve got mine
And you got yours

I keep it on the high
Keep it on the low
Everyone around me
Wanna go away

5. Been out of Town

I’ve been out of town
For twenty-five days
I’ve been out looking
For something better

And what I found was
There was nothing
Out there for me
And so I’m a-coming on
Back to you

You gotta get, get, get…
Get on outta my way
’Cause I…
I’m a-coming on through

I was being haunted
By a choking sensation
Felt I had to make a run for it

And so I ran
Till my feet got sore
And my head got clear
And they both kept leading me
Back to you

You gotta get, get, get…
Get on outta my way
’Cause I…
I’m a-coming on through

Wow wow wow wow…
All in my head
Wow wow wow wow…
All in my head

6. Stuck at the Bottom

Why can’t I have a piece of that
You got good plenty of that
Neon-covered piece of heaven
I am stuck at the bottom
And no one knows who I am
No, no, no, no, no, no

Look here now
I could get used to that jet-set life
And celebrate
Like every day was Saturday
But I am stuck at the bottom
And no one knows who I am
No, no, no, no, no, no

From the hill to the mountain
From the cage to the wild
From the heart and into the world
Can you hear me, me, me, me, me, me

Babylon, here I come
Are you ready for me
I’ll be the fliest thing
That you’ve ever seen
Babylon, here I come
Here I come, here I come…

From the hill to the mountain
From the cage to the wild
From the heart and into the world
Can you hear me, me, me, me, me, me

7. Exit!

You’ve been raised to be a good school boy
They say they guarantee rewards
Go by the rules
Stay out of the riots
Adjust when ever times get rough

I can only tell you this much
You’ve been deceived by your own kind
There is only one thing you can do
Exit! Exit! Exit! Exit!

Find the gate
Leave the country
Don’t look behind if you succeed
Follow the caravan with those alike you
Walk towards the sun
And into the light

Now you know as much as I do
You’ve been deceived by your own kind
There is only one thing we can do
Exit! Exit! Exit! Exit!

Exit! Exit! Exit! Exit!
Exit! Exit! Exit! Exit!
Exit! Exit! Exit! Exit!

8. Something I Understand

In this world
I don’t know nothing better than you
I don’t know nothing better than you
In this world

In this world there are so many things
That I don’t understand
Things like champagne
And roses and such

I like the shape of your collarbones
I like the way that you sway with your hips
I like the talk that you do
By God, that’s something that I understand

In this world
I don’t know nothing better than you
I don’t know nothing better than you
In this world

I am struck by the way
You make me behave
You make me do things
That I wouldn’t normally do

You make me dance with your vibe
You make me shiver
You’re making me sweat
Like I was standing
In the pouring rain
Oh God, that’s something that I understand

In this world
I don’t know nothing better than you
I don’t know nothing better than you
In this world

9. Bow Down

I won’t bow down to no man

Not even if I need a ride to the next village
Not if I need to cross continents
Nor if I need money, yeah
Or when I feel lonely, yeah
…will I ever bow down to no man

Not even if you have a car with a tank-full of gas
Not even if you have a ship to cross the seas
Nor if you own a bank full of employees
Or if you lead your own church, and put your soul at ease
…will I ever bow down to you

I won’t bow down to no man
I won’t bow down to no man
I won’t bow down to no man
I won’t bow down to no man
