About Grátt
“Grátt” is the brand new single by Faroese duo, Einangran. Einangran consists of Heiðrik á Heygum and Lea Kampmann, who are both solo singer/songwriters.
They were stuck in the same apartment in Copenhagen during the first Covid lockdown, and here they formed the project, Einangran, with songs in their mother tongue, Faroese.
Since then they have released their debut EP, consisting of their Faroese hit “Kanska” which they received the ‘Song of the Year’-award for, at Faroese Music Awards 2020.
After the great success of their debut EP, Lea and Heiðrik decided to team up again with Faroese producers, Janus Rasmussen (Kiasmos) and Sakaris Joensen.
Grátt means gray in Faroese and is a song about without the gray clouds we wouldn’t appreciate the blue sky when it finally peeks through.
