Várlongsil

Tórshavnar Chamber Choir was founded in 1985 and has 25 singers. The choir has two annual concerts, the Christmas concert and the Spring concert. The choir also has other appearances. Tórshavnar Chamber Choir is especially dedicated to the Nordic song tradition. The choir also performs Kingo hymns and contemporary Faroese material. In addition to this the choir performs works from the classical repertoire.

This compact disc was recorded in the Sofia Albertina Church in Landskrona, Sweden.
