BYRTA and Sakaris released the famous 80’s song “Frøknur” in February 2024. The song was very well received and now they’ve been back in the recording studios and this time they have made a re-recording of the 80’s hit “Stjørnuskot”, which was originally released by Plúmm in 1985. BYRTA and SAKARIS were surprised that no one had previously made a re-recording of the song, which came out 40 years ago. The new version has a more modern sound, but is still a banger. The song is about a person who stands in front of the mirror and dreams about being a star.
