“Koyri heim” (Driving home) is the brand new single by Faroese duo, Einangran. Einangran consists of Heiðrik á Heygum and Lea Kampmann, who are both solo singer/songwriters. They were stuck in the same apartment in Copenhagen during the first Corona lockdown, and here they formed the project, Einangran, with songs in their mother tongue, Faroese. Since then they have released their debut EP, consisting of their Faroese hit “Kanska” which they received the ‘Song of the Year’-award for, at Faroese Music Awards 2020. After the great success of their debut EP, Lea and Heiðrik decided to team up again with Faroese producers, Janus Rasmussen (Kiasmos) and Sakaris Joensen. The result was a dreamy disco song, with synthscape flashbacks to the 1980s. The song is the story of someone, who just broke up with their partner and goes straight out clubbing to get over them. But as soon as they hit the dancefloor, they regret their decision and go straight back home to patch things up.
