Ólavur Højgaard

Ólavur Højgaard is a very popular singer on the Faroe Islands, and is perhaps best known as the singer in Vestmenn, which is a country band that dates all the way back to the 80’s. His latest solo album is “Syng Meg Heim Til Slignan Bø Og Turkiløg” that includes all the musicians from Vestmenn along with several other well known Faroese singer-songwriters, such as Niels Midjord and Martin Joensen.
