Iron Lungs

Although the Faroe Islands have spawned their share of metal bands, Iron Lungs is unlike any that has come before. Their music could be described as a mixture of frantic, math-core eruptions, hardcore-, and sludge metal. They have existed as a purely live act until now, and have garnered quite a following, mainly due to the fact that they grip you by the tender parts right from the first riff and do not let go until the ringing stops after the last cymbal crash has been hit. Intensity is a given by the nature of this type of music, but Iron Lungs take it that one step further.

It will be very interesting to see where these guys take it after this first song, Andromedan, has been released. They do take their time in the creating process, but they will make it worth the wait.
