Asyllex

Ayllex is a Faroese thrash metal band with five members, all hailing from the southern-most island on the Faroe Islands, called Suðuroy (translates to Southern Island). They have played together as a band since 2012, and War Order is their debut album. They have already been invited to play at the Icelandic metal festival, Eistnaflug, and have been competing at the Wacken Metal Battle in Germany, as well as having played at the prestigious, Faroese festival G! in 2016.

In 2020 they released the album, Ephemeros, where they looked into a more original musical path, not limited to any specific sub genre, in the metal universe. Ephemeros is a culmination of all of the band’s musical inspirations. From Ballads, to full-blown thrash songs. Epic symphonic arrangements, and black metal inspired somber melodies.
