Ratchid came together in 2018 in a music class in Thorshavn Faroe Islands, and have played mostly rock and roll covers covers of the 80´ies and the 90´ies, but has recently started making songs to release. The band is Eyðun Hjalt, singer and guitarplayer, Dan Jensen, Bass and singer, Finn Larsen, drums, and Ragnar Østerø, Guitar and singing.
Takk fyri meg is a song about if you have the misfortune of dying you will have said thanks for everything in advance to all your loved ones and others. Everyone can get into accidents and what not, and never have the opportunity to say whats on their mind before passing away.
