Recorded in Norðagøta, Faroe Islands, on the 4th of February 2018, as a part of the on-going series “Recording Europe”.
Ranchus’ “Live From The Barn” is exactly what it sounds like: it’s a six-song EP of Ranchus playing live in a barn. The session starts off with their latest song “Eat Silk”, then followed by a mixture of reworked older songs as well as newer/unreleased songs.
The session was also filmed and can be viewed in it’s entirety on Recording Europe’s youtube channel.
It’s raw, it’s sweet, it’s heavy, it’s delicate. Made with utmost care in a hurry; it’s Ranchus.
