Open My Eyes is a song that talks about two topics that have impacted my life in a huge way. Two years into my marriage I decided to leave my home and everything I knew to move to the Faroe Islands with my wonderful wife Barbara. Shortly after that my father passed away unexpectedly. Recovering from this took years full of sadness, anger and despair. This Song speaks about my moving to the Faroe Islands, making it my home and what it was like to get over my father’s death in the process. It’s a song full of emotion and heart that I feel others will definitely relate to.
