The members of Tøgn are familiar faces from different corners of the music world – Beinir is
making a name for himself on the Danish music scene, while Bárður Petersen has spent
recent years working behind the scenes on several successful projects, including with
Jónas Gaard, who completes the trio.
More than anything, they’re close friends who all live in Copenhagen. A shared sense of
longing for the Faroe Islands brought them together and encouraged them to write in their
native language.
