It all started as a fun project back in 2011. Young boys filled the stage – a guitar each – singing and cheering up good old songs and hymns. Moving forward to 2023, and these same boys (now men) decided to take this project one step further. It was at this moment the band “Brandar” was formed.
Brandar mostly plays music in the folk-rock genre, and are inspired by bands like Rend Collective and
Mumford & Sons etc. They have mostly played in their local area but strive to reach more people with their music. Their first single is out on the streaming services, (2024) and a few songs are in the making. It is especially the lead singer, Hans Fuglø Christiansen, who writes the songs.
Brandar consists of 6 members.
