Swangah
Swangah (a.k.a. Swangah Dangah) are a Faroese hip-hop duo from Tórshavn, Faroe Islands consisting of MC’s Steen and Ragnar, performing with lyrics in Faroese.
The two released their debut album “Belials Synir” in late 2011 on Tutl, earning them the ‘Band of the Year’ and ‘New Band of the Year’ awards at the annual Planet Awards gala. They followed it up with their sophomore album “Undirgangstónar” in 2013. That same year they won the ‘Best Live Act’ award at the Faroese Music Awards.
