Danny & The Veetos
Danny & the Veetos are one of the most beloved bands from the Faroe Islands, known for their
nostalgic folk-pop sound. Their storytelling and signature melodies have earned them a loyal
following across the Nordics, with performances at Tivoli in Denmark, Iceland Airwaves in
Iceland, and G! Festival in the Faroe Islands.
Their breakout single “Alright” won Song of the Year at the Faroese Music Awards in 2017 and
later resurfaced as the unofficial anthem for the Faroese national handball team during their
historic run at the European Championship. This moment brought international attention back to
the band.
After a few quiet years, Danny & the Veetos returned in 2025 with new music. Their comeback
single became Ugens Hit Tip on DR P4 and received airplay across Europe. Since their return,
they have already played more than 50 shows, and continue that momentum with “Let Me Go,” a
heartfelt and anthemic release that captures the band’s trademark blend of honesty and
nostalgia.
