About Hannibal EP
These three songs were written and recorded at home. They appeared in solitude and out of the blue. Words were sung and lines jotted down, chords and melodies emerged, it was fast and very little has been edited.
The song Hannibal draws inspiration from when general Hannibal Barca crossed the alps with an army of war elephants, an event which has immortalised the man. Labinnah is an instrumental track directly constructed out of the recorded elements in Hannibal. Hvar skalt tú sova can be thought of as a lullaby. It simply asks the question “Where do you want to sleep now that the night is upon us”.
