About Ein endurspegling
The fifth single from Faroe Islands collective Klingra is the closing track on the upcoming album. A simple song where all extraneous matter has been pared away, leaving room for a lamentation of loss – as well as the celebration of memories and reflections.
“Where is the beginning when the ending turns in and wraps you in thankfulness?”, as the Faroese lyrics end, before the strings and pedal steel guitar fades out.
The album will be named …eftir (translated: left)
… like the sailors, left on the ice, when the coffins were sailed away
… like a bystander, left when the world passes by
… like you and me, left when we have lost
