About cliché
Making his musical debut, “cliché” is the first single in the upcoming project of the artist Troo Swee. Revolving around the duality of being and the wish to stand out in a monotonous world, the songs message is enhanced by the weeping pads and an ice-cold trap beat. Delving into his mind, Troo Swee explores something fundamental which applies to all of us: Our desire to belong and our wish to be, what we were created to be.

Falling deep into the sound.
Silence never been so loud.
Come closer, it’s been so tough,
Back off, i’m going through some stuff.
I’m not black or white: i’m some kind of gray.
Feeling like Ferrera, gone M.I.A.
Getting crazy, cause i just can’t explain:
Is it D.N.A or am I to blame?
My God, I wanna tell you so:
I don’t wanna be fake no more.
Tired, treatin you like my foe,
Always trying to hide, yeah
Tried living life on a high.
Fat ego writing cheques, I couldn’t survive.
Soul dry, didn’t mind the decline.
Buzzing off, locked inside my own shrine.
I don’t wanna be, don’t wanna be cliché.
Take me out oh Lord, take me to the fray.
Please ignite my flame, end all of my shame.
Cause I don’t wanna be, dont wanna be cliché.
And for the rest of my life, and for the rest of my life
Form me till the day that I die, form me till the day that I die
I don’t wanna be, don’t wanna be cliché
Take me out oh Lord, take me to the fray.
Satisfy me pronto.
My life, my motto.
Outside we bravado.
(Inside) Crooked lines – Picasso.
Am I the only one feeling this way?
Is everybody keeping up the charade?
Tryna cover up the conspiracy:
Everybody got a grip, but not me?
Done the, grindin, still on level uno, you know.
Plan A: my way, thought i’d beat the boss on solo.
When I thought that I had no allies,
All I needed was to open my eyes.
I don’t wanna be, don’t wanna be cliché.
Take me out oh Lord, take me to the fray.
Please ignite my flame, end all of my shame.
Cause I don’t wanna be, don’t wanna be cliché.
And for the rest of my life, and for the rest of my life.
Form me till the day that I die, form me till the day that I die.
I don’t wanna be, don’t wanna be cliché.
Take me out oh Lord, take me to the fray.
When I thought that I had no allies,
All I needed was to open my eyes. x 2
Please ignite my flame, end all of my shame.
Cause I don’t wanna be, don’t wanna be cliché.
When I thougt that I had no allies.
All I needed was to look to the skies.
