The Absent Silver King

The Absent Silver King is Trygvi Danielsen’s first band. It’s old school blues, heroin jazz, and lots of noise rock with a touch of spirituality. An exciting atmosphere that leads the mind to everything from old spirituals to Nick Cave to Clickhaze. The band won the local music competition Sement in 2013 and released their debut self-titled album together with a poetry and shortstory book the same year. The book is sold out. The vinyl record comes with a CD. The band members were: Trygvi Danielsen (vocals), Jón McGavin (guitar), Bogi á Lakjuni (guitar), Karl Andrias Stórá (bass), Per Ingvaldur Højgaard Petersen (drums) and Mattias Kapnas (keyboard). Trygvi Danielsen later started the projects Silvurdrongur and Aggrasoppar.
