Ingmar

Ingmar
Ingmar is Faroese and can also trace his lineage to Iceland, as his grandfather was Icelandic. He has previously released music with other bands, including Reality Bytes and Brimhvítt. He also created the jingle for the Faroese radio morning show “Góðan morgun, Føroyar” on KVF, the Faroese national radio, in 2024. However, he has only released one song under his own name before, “Hey, tú” (“Hey, You”), which came out in 2023.
Lárus Óskar and Ingmar have known each other for a long time and have each released their own songs. When Ingmar was visiting Iceland in 2024, the friends thought they should start making music together. That is how this collaboration between them began. They hope to follow up with more projects.
Ingmar remembers starting his singing career in 6th grade when he sang at a school concert. But it was not until 9th grade that his new best friend taught him to play the guitar. Less than a year later, he started playing the piano, and on it went. Ingmar owes his musical sense to many inspirerers and teachers, ranging from Michael Jackson to Nirvana, from Kashmir to Kirk Franklin, from his father to his many music friends and teachers.
Ingmar has been playing and performing in many contexts and many bands, but decided that now was about time to debute as a soloist.
Egged on by old friends and new, he has now embarked on the adventure of the creation of music, hoping that it will gain the world and the soul.
