Sámal Petersen
Sámal Petersen studied at the Carl Nielsen Conservatory of Music in Den- mark with Bela Detrekoy, Alexander Fischer and Arne Blak-Møller. He continued his education in Vienna with Ernst Kovacic and Maigraed McCann and has attended courses with Valrij Klimov and Kristian Altenburger. Sámal Petersen is concertmaster of the Faroese Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Faroese ensembles “Aldubáran” and “Musica Viva.”
