GUNZ
GUNZ is the nickname friends gave Gunnar Thomsen, bass player in the famous faroese metal band TÝR. Now he is going to release his first solo album under that very name, GUNZ. On „Psycho Train“ he plays both guitar and bass and also sings. Of course he could be heard singing before in many songs of his main band, but never nearly as prominent as here, where he is the main singer. GUNZ is rather to be considered a project than a band as it has no steady members. Gunnar is constantly creative and writing songs, among those a lot that don’t really fit for his main band, but reflect his personal musical taste. With the help of Hans Hammer (as co-songwriter and producer) he put ten songs together that show a different side of the well-known musician. As GUNZ he presents traditional Heavy Metal songs with catchy tunes and choruses that are hard to get out of your head again.
