Description
VinstraHøgra
A couple of weeks ago, GØ revealed their upcoming album “Ævir, amen” and dropped their powerful debut single, “Loysing í dós.” Now, they’re back with their second release – the funky track “VinstraHøgra” (EN: LeftRight). Featuring a groovy synth bass line and a lighthearted, catchy melody, GØ aims to capture the pure joy of childhood play. The title, inspired by the Faroese children’s song “Vinstra, Høgra,” carries a subtle political undertone: “Vinstra” refers to the left-wing, and “Høgra” to the right-wing. Coupled with the song’s playful and humorous tone, the title hints at the idea that politics can sometimes resemble a children’s playground for adults.
